Elena Pisani, researcher of the SIMRA project, participated in the Good Practice Workshop “Methods for assessing impacts of Rural Development Programmes 2007-13: Practices and solutions for the ex post evaluation" co-organized by The Evaluation Helpdesk and the Italian Rural Network (CREA) on 4-5 July 2016 Palermo (Italy). The workshop was a forum for discussing the exchange of evaluation practices.
The SIMRA research team is particularly interested in proposing evaluation methods and guidelines reading Social Innovation in Marginalized Rural Areas that are consistent and in line with evaluation studies on CAP (Common Agricultural Policy) topics done by DG AGRI’s (General Directorate for Agricultural and Rural Development) Unit E.4 Evaluation and Studies.
